The time has come for us to create something different. Something unique and memorable. Something that involves a landscape, and a phone. Today, I’m going to show you how to create a classy tech front cover on PowerPoint.
Why a tech front cover?
You want to create a front cover that doesn’t only look nice, but conveys a message. This is because the front cover is your first impression. For example, the message on this tech front cover is “we are going to talk about technology” and it looks damn good in the process.
Also, I’ve recognized that loads of people on this website are in different fields. Some are in technology, some in medical, some in hospitality, and so on. I feel like there’s a need to start categorizing my slides to these themes in particular, because it gives insight on how you can bring your background (or your personality) into your PowerPoint slide.
So, we’re going to start off with technology, and create a tech front cover.
This looks cool, but looks hard to do
Don’t be intimidated by this PowerPoint slide. You would actually be surprised by how easy this is to do.
The key is to find the right images, and by images, I mean:
- A landscape image – this is essentially a JPEG image of whatever it is you want to take a ‘picture’ of. More than likely
- A hand-holding-phone image – this is a PNG image of the ‘tech’ part of the slide. You want to position this on your slide so that it shows it’s taking a picture of something. Please note, you have to find a PNG image of a hand holding a phone to make this work.
What’s a PNG image?
PNG stands for Portable Network Graphics. Without getting too technical, a PNG file is what allows for transparency in our PowerPoint slides.
